This is a formal confirmation of Wojciech\u2019s position within the firm and a response to the growing scale and complexity of projects handled by JDP, including <strong>large infrastructure projects, high-stakes disputes, and legal advice on contracts for the supply of technologically advanced machinery and production lines.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Wojciech Bazan <\/strong>has handled some of the largest court and arbitration disputes in Poland, including matters concerning contract termination, contractual penalties, and contract price indexation regarding large infrastructure and industrial projects. He develops litigation strategies and acts as lead counsel in complex, multi-faceted disputes involving multi-million claims (including proceedings before international arbitration tribunals (ICC)) and investment disputes.<\/p>\n<p>His experience also includes ongoing contract advice in infrastructure projects (including roads, airports, energy facilities and waste incineration plants), contracts for the supply of technologically advanced machinery, production lines and industrial robots, as well as projects for the defence sector. In 2025, he was ranked <em>Up and Coming: Litigation<\/em> by Chambers &amp; Partners, and in 2023, he was listed among the \u201c50 lawyers to watch on LinkedIn\u201d.<\/p>\n<p class=\"featured-type-1\">\u201c<em>Wojciech\u2019s promotion to shareholder of our law firm further confirms JDP\u2019s consistent strategy of organic growth that we have been pursuing over the recent years. The change in the shareholder structure strengthens the firm in areas that are key from the perspective of our clients, while maintaining a stable management model and clear strategic growth direction\u201d, <\/em>said prof. Przemys\u0142aw Drapa\u0142a, Managing Partner at JDP.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>New name of the firm<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>In January 2026, JDP Drapa\u0142a &amp; Partners sp.k. changed its name to <strong>JDP Drapa\u0142a Chomiuk &amp; Partners sp.k.<\/strong>, reflecting the firm\u2019s structure and management model based on the partners\u2019 shared responsibility. The new name is a result of the firm\u2019s growth in recent years, especially the strengthening of stable leadership in key areas of our activity. It reflects how we operate in practice and shows the strength of our practices and the long-term growth of our team.<\/p>\n<p>For many years, JDP has grown under the leadership of <strong>Prof. Przemys\u0142aw Drapa\u0142a<\/strong>, who, as Managing Partner, is responsible for the firm\u2019s strategic development and the shape of its partnership model. At the same time, the firm has been consistently investing in expanding practices requiring the highest level of expertise in handling disputes, including litigation and arbitration, infrastructure, industry and defence.
