Associate in the Litigation and Arbitration Team and the Infrastructure Team. He provides ongoing legal advice on court proceedings and legal assistance to entities from the construction and infrastructure sectors. He specialises in proceedings before common courts, in particular regarding infrastructure disputes, including cases based on FIDIC standards. His experience includes legal advice on arbitration proceedings before the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Court of Arbitration at the Confederation of Lewiatan.
Selected projects
- participation in two arbitration proceedings before an ad hoc court of arbitration concerning an appeal against the selection of the most advantageous bid in a tender for an infrastructure project of strategic importance to Poland;
- representation of a real estate developer in a dispute with a housing community concerning liability for defects in a building;
- representation of a tenant in disputes with a landlord concerning the effectiveness of termination of a lease agreement, the obligation to pay rent, and the application of the rebus sic stantibus clause by the court.
