As of January 2026, JDP has welcomed Piotr Duma and Michał Urbański to its partnership. For many years, they have been contributing to the firm’s core practice areas and have played an active role in developing client relationships within their respective fields.
The promotions recognise their expertise in handling complex projects and their commitment to the firm’s growth and the development of its advisory services.
Piotr Duma, attorney-at-law in the Litigation and Arbitration Team and the Infrastructure Team, specialises in disputes regarding infrastructure projects, in particular in the road construction sector, including those based on FIDIC standards. He represents clients in court and arbitration proceedings relating to, among other things, contractual penalties, contract withdrawal and settlements regarding additional and substitute works. Piotr also advises general contractors on contract performance and supports investment funds in asset acquisition and management processes.
Michał Urbański, attorney-at-law, Head of ESG in the Real Estate Team, specialises in handling real estate transactions, including advising on lease agreements, joint ventures and financing. He supports clients at every project stage, from planning and structuring through to negotiations and the finalisation of transactions. Michał also advises on property portfolio management, corporate restructuring and financing.
