Associate in the Litigation and Arbitration Team and the Infrastructure Team. He represents clients in court proceedings and provides legal advice to entities operating across the construction, infrastructure and service sectors. Filip specialises in proceedings before arbitration and common courts, in particular regarding infrastructure and construction disputes. His experience includes arbitration proceedings before the ICC International Court of Arbitration in Paris, the Court of Arbitration at the Polish Chamber of Commerce and the Court of Arbitration at the Confederation of Lewiatan.


Selected projects

  • representation of a company’s shareholder in over 60 proceedings to fend off a hostile takeover of a controlling stake in a real estate-owning company, as part of a multi-faceted corporate dispute;
  • representation of a client in two arbitrations before an ad hoc arbitration court regarding appealing against the selection of the most advantageous bid in a tender regarding an infrastructure project of strategic importance to Poland’s interests;
  • representation of a contractor in a dispute with a contracting entity involving a claim for contract price indexation and compensation, as well as the judicial application of the rebus sic stantibus clause due to a change in circumstances affecting the contract performance.
