We are pleased to announce that as of 1 January 2025 dr Joanna Ostojska-Kołodziej and Mariusz Nowakowski have been promoted to Partners at JDP.

Dr Joanna Ostojska-Kołodziej joined JDP in 2021 as Head of the Employment team. She advises employers on individual and collective labour law issues, supports them on day-to-day employment matters and crisis situations, devises effective remuneration and incentive schemes, handles complex employment restructuring and lay-off processes, and advises on transfers of work establishments. Joanna also represents clients before employment courts, where amicable resolution is not possible. She is the author of numerous publications on civil and labour law.
Mariusz Nowakowski, MLE, joined JDP in 2012. He specialises in strategic advice to entities from the construction and infrastructure sectors, with particular focus on road, energy and industrial projects across Poland and abroad. Being part of the Litigation and Arbitration team and the Infrastructure team, he assists clients throughout all project phases – from contract negotiation and execution to claim management (including under FIDIC standards), and successful representation in court and arbitration proceedings. Mariusz’s work contributes to tangible outcomes such as increased project profitability, settlement of additional or substitute works, deadline extensions, and enforcement of contractual penalties. Clients value his combination of expertise and deep understanding of the construction and infrastructure sectors.
