Our firm continues to introduce new players to the Polish market. Terminal, one of the leading providers of remotely working software engineers, worked with JDP on their first business opening in Europe. We advised the client on the corporate, employment, intellectual property and tax aspects of their expansion to Poland. Software development talents recruited here will work remotely for US startups.
We also supported the company in employing Ukrainian refugees in our country. Terminal began their initiative with employee donations to non-profits supporting Ukraine and providing emergency relocation support, now also offering reimbursements to help with temporary accommodation, wellbeing resources and taking care of basic necessities such as bank accounts, mobile numbers and healthcare.
This project was led by Adrian Andrychowski (Senior Associate, Corporate and M&A) with support from Magdalena Zasiewska (Head of Taxes), Joanna Ostojska-Kołodziej, PhD (Counsel, Head of Employment), Adam Usiądek (Associate, Corporate and M&A) and Krzysztof Brant (Associate, Intellectual Property).
Terminal is active in a variety of markets in South America and Canada.
