JDP Law Firm advised a leading global automotive parts supplier in the process of negotiating and concluding a complex restructuring agreement with its subcontractor in Poland.
The legal advice included developing a plan for further cooperation in terms of parts manufacturing and financial support to the subcontractor, including participating in the negotiations and concluding an agreement. JDP’s assistance was focused primarily on securing the companies against the subcontractor’s insolvency, including ensuring seamless return of machines and tools kept in the subcontractor’s plant. During the negotiations it was crucial to find such solutions that would not disturb the planned production and supplies.
