JDP Law Firm advised Inter Metal (Saferoad Group), being an investor, on the construction of the most advanced hot-dip galvanising plant in Poland.
The facility has been constructed in Inowrocław and — according to Inter Metal — is probably one of the most technologically advanced facilities of its kind in Europe.
JDP Law Firm advised Inter Metal throughout the entire investment process, including with respect to preparing a real property for the project purposes; preparing documentation; negotiating performance agreements, including agreements for designing and supplying technologies; obtaining public-law permits; and making settlements with the construction process participants.
Particularly challenging in terms of organisation was coordinating the works of certain construction process participants, including an Italian technology supplier, during the COVID-19 restrictions being in place.
Inter Metal was supported by a team of lawyers led by attorney-at-law Maciej Chrzan, LL.M. (Partner, Head of the Real Estate Team), consisting of attorney-at-law Jakub Majewski (Counsel), attorney-at-law Piotr Duma (Counsel), attorney-at-law Artur Krępa (Associate), and tax adviser Magdalena Zasiewska (Head of Taxes).
