JDP’s Energy and Renewables Team advised on regulatory matters in the over a year long lasting transaction regarding the sale of a 270 MW solar and wind power plant by Lewandpol to Energa Wytwarzanie (Grupa Orlen). The transaction was finalized in December 2024.
JDP’s team supported CRIDO, a leading legal advisor, advising on regulatory matters for the sale of the Kleczew Solar & Wind Park hybrid project by Lewandpol Holding Sp. z o.o. to Energa Wytwarzanie S.A. The planned final capacity of the power plant complex is to be up to 334 MW, as the plant may be expanded.
Kleczew Solar & Wind is one of the largest producers of energy from renewable sources in Central and Eastern Europe and the first in Poland on such a large scale. The energy is produced in a hybrid way: solar energy comes from a photovoltaic panel plant, while wind energy is produced with the use of a wind turbine.
On behalf of JDP Drapała & Partners, Michał Drozdowicz, Partner and Head of the Energy and Renewables practice, and Karol Brunejko, Associate from the same team, advised on the regulatory issues of energy law.
