On 1 August, Michał Jagielski, expert in tax law, and Wiktor Rainka, expert in IP/IT law, joined our team.
Michał will co-lead the Tax Team. For over ten years, he worked for global consulting companies (PwC, Andersen) in the area of tax advice. In JDP he will continue to develop the tax advice practice that closely cooperates with our other teams to handle the challenges of our clients comprehensively.
Wiktor will lead the IP/IT/Advertising and Media Law Team. He specialises in intellectual property law, handles court proceedings and advises clients, focusing on the aspects fundamental for their businesses. He is an expert in crisis situations and business protection. Wiktor gained his valuable experience when advising one of the largest online websites operating in media and e-commerce and an international streaming platform. Thanks to that Wiktor can effectively react to the needs of in-house lawyers.
According to dr Marcin Chomiuk, Head of M&A, Corporate and Commercial Practice, having Michał and Wiktor onboard considerably strengthens JDP team taking into account the ever-growing challenges of the market, to which JDP successfully reacts. “We are happy to welcome Michał and Wiktor in JDP.
